Inspired by quilting, stained glass and computer collage (small images within an image) I call my technique mosaic collage. The style of a horse wearing carousel gear was selected to reflect the historic carousel at Rochester's Seabreeze Park.

Graduating from high school I struggled with two career choices: art or nursing. The first twenty years of my career were spent as a full time nurse and a part time freelance artist. The second twenty years are primarily focused on creative pursuits and part time nursing. "My" horse is a wonderful blend of my life's work, reflecting my artwork and my nursing career and specifically Genesee Hospital.
